Join Oscar and Lorri Duckworth and family and hear their story as farmers who work with the wild on Duckworth Farm (Nahmens conservation easement). Meet a variety of farm animals, enjoy fall foliage, and relax beneath the oaks on this beautiful property for a bring-your-own-lunch picnic. There will be an easy 1.5-mile hike along Blucher Creek with a chance to see birds and other wildlife. Afterward, experience wool-spinning by hand using the Duckworth’s own sheep’s wool.
A wonderful event for all ages, it’s an especially rich farm experience for children as they meet animals and learn about where our food comes from.
Level of Difficulty: Easy
