Come make history with LandPaths, in partnership with the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District! During the next two years, LandPaths will be installing a brand new trail system at the District-protected Riddell Preserve and we hope you’ll join us! New trails will be used for LandPaths’ educational and outings programs. By helping build these trails, you will be a part of the Riddell Preserve forever! Trail work includes brushing vegetation, cutting bench, building structures, and clearing dirt off the trail. There are tasks for everyone! If there is a large enough volunteer group, we will split into two groups and one group will remove invasive French broom.

No experience is necessary. LandPaths will provide the necessary tools, but feel free to bring your own if you have them. Helpful tools include a McLeod, square shovel, grub/grape hoe, pick mattock/cutter mattock, and rake.

Level of Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous
Leader: LandPaths
