The Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District & LandPaths welcome you to join us at the stunning, 400-acre Riddell Preserve for a day of stewardship, community-building, a bit of exercise and some fun! This summer season we will actually be building the trail system at this remote, Healdsburg property, as we work to implement the Riddell Trails Plan designed with the Sonoma County Trails Council. The Riddell Preserve is a rugged natural area. Volunteers should come prepared for off-trail hiking with some steep sections and unsure footing.
No experience necessary. LandPaths will provide necessary tools, but feel free to bring your own if you have them. Helpful tools include Mcleod, square shovels, grub/grape hoe, pick mattock/cutter mattock, and rakes. Two more trail days are planned for Ridell, so stay tuned!
Level of difficulty: moderate
Leader: LandPaths
