Please join LandPaths staff for its new monthly stewardship workdays at LandPaths’ Grove of the Old Trees Preserve in Occidental! Friends of the Grove (FOG) and LandPaths welcome you to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty to help care for this unique ecological treasure!
In 2018, LandPaths is increasing its stewardship presence at the Grove with new monthly stewardship workdays, lending an extra hand to ensure that this unique wild space continues to be a healthy and flourishing habitat for our native plants and animals, as well as a place for our human community to gather and find solace in the majesty of the redwood forest.
Protected forever by Ag + Open Space, this beautiful preserve was the first property stewarded and owned by LandPaths – it’s the only privately owned wildland preserve in Sonoma County that is publicly accessible and free to all. Your work to steward the Grove helps us in both protecting the biotic integrity of this special place while allowing the public to enjoy it!
Level of Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous
