Ever wonder which of the many plants in our woods are edible? If you had to survive on what you could forage, would you know what is safe to eat? Or how to prepare it? This is your chance to find out! We will hike through the beautiful Sonoma Ag & Open Space protected Saddle Mountain Preserve, identifying edible plants as we go. This hike is perfect for the young adventurer in your family (8-15), though all ages are welcome. We will be hiking up to 4 miles over some steep terrain.
Level of hike difficulty: moderate with some steep sections & plenty of stops along the way.
