East to North Slope Sonoma Mountain Ridgeline Hike

This special hike allows participants to enjoy a point-to-point hike from East Slope to North Sonoma Mountain Trail along the Sonoma Mountain Ridgeline for some spectacular views of the Valley of the Moon and San Pablo Bay. The hike will traverse the Bay Area Ridge Trail starting just before the Eliot Family Loop Trail located on the east side of Sonoma Mountain, on a privately owned property that is forever protected through a conservation easement donated to Ag + Open Space.
This is a strenuous hike with some steep ascents and descents. We will hike approximately 9 miles, and there are some elevation gain and uneven footing. There is no charge for this outing, which is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who fund the work of Ag + Open Space with a quarter-cent sales tax.
