Please join the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation & Open Space District in partnership with LandPaths for a day of stewardship at the Dogbane Preserve. Thanks to many years of community-powered stewardship and invasive plant removal, the dogbane plant has thrived on this special 3.3-acre, culturally-significant property. The Dogbane Preserve was in the path of the Tubbs fire, but with your help we are hopeful that the dogbane plant will continue to thrive. Our tasks for the day include digging out Harding grass, sheet mulching, removing blackberry sprout, pruning limbs and coyote brush, and general tending of the dogbane.
Level of Hiking Difficulty: Easy, with some uneven terrain
Leaders: Sonoma County Ag & Open Space District and LandPaths
