Come celebrate a National Day of Service on MLK Day by volunteering with the Watershed Stewards Program and Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District! Help remove invasive plants, reduce erosion, spread native seeds and improve salmonid habitat in the Paulin Creek Open Space Preserve.

Paulin Creek Open Space Preserve is a critical riparian corridor and oak woodland within urban Santa Rosa. Improving this habitat will benefit water quality, steelhead salmon habitat, and public enjoyment of the preserve. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome and should park near the end of Beverly Way, wear sturdy footwear and bring water.

The event is FREE. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

To register, email Troy.Cameron@CCC.CA.GOV with the subject line “Paulin Creek Preservation” or call 707-565-2199.
